We collaborated with DixonBaxi to rebrand Samsung TV Plus with a new sonic identity that reflects the global streaming service’s growing roster of popular channels, huge library of premium content, and effortless cross-device experience.


OuR Goal

The brand centres around the idea of “everyday extraordinary,” which speaks to Samsung's ability to infuse a touch of innovation into their ubiquitous services.

Our aim was to create a sonic identity for Samsung TV Plus that is both playful and premium, setting it apart from other TV services yet fitting seamlessly into the larger Samsung ecosystem.


 
 

Where will I hear the sONIC?

The new sound will be used worldwide in front of all Samsung TV plus content and at the end of trailers, reels and commercials.


 
 

Personality

We produced a striking mnemonic identity that would turn heads in the opening and closing sequences of the app. Dynamic contrast, sub bass, 808 beats and a light airy organic piano creates an interesting energetic, attention grabbing but approachable contrast mirroring and articulating the motion and design. The distinct 4-beat signature is a melodic swell of sound resolved in a clear endnote, symbolic of the wide array of content found in the singular destination that is Samsung TV Plus.
