Background
With Vinted, everything has the potential to be 'New Again' - it celebrates the reinvention and personal value in the "new to you" experiences. Our goal was to translate Vinted into something that you can hear and feel, looking to create memorability and distinction.
'The Vee' articulates the Vinted brand personality and ambition. The pride of a great find or the joy of a successful sale, it's the freedom to reinvent ourselves through second-hand. It embraces the use-repeat-use nature of pre-loved items, a circular way of consuming.

The Vee
The Vee represents the Vinted personality and is designed to work with and compliment all Vinted messaging and informs our suite of UI sounds. Our sound is warm, proud, hopeful and grounded. It feels familiar but fresh, smooth with momentum, feels homemade but crafted.
It’s a sonic gesture that has a distinct arrangement. A smooth synth pad rises gracefully into a 5 note rhythmic phrase created from hand claps and cardboard box (packaging). Then warm synth pad rises again into a distinct coin flick and snare drum sign off.
Something creatively bold and brave, feeling warm, proud, playful and practical
